Our January figurative exhibition showcases a diverse
approach to the human body. Eclectic in style and form,
we have selected seven Sacramento artists to interpret
the figure by expressing their innermost feelings about
our human nature. In doing so they choose what is the
best or preferred from a variety of culturally diverse
sources, styles, concerns and ideals. Through the mere
manifestation of human beauty, the figure is transformed
and evolved into various spiritual, moral or political
allegories.
